Quick answer
The best Google Ads agency for a Shopify store is the one whose stated minimum, fee model and Shopify experience match your ad spend. As of October 25, 2026, 15 agencies state on their own sites that they run Google Ads for online stores. Five publish a fee, two publish a minimum, and seven name Shopify on a service page. The list below is alphabetical, not ranked.
Key takeaways
- As of October 25, 2026, five of the 15 agencies that state they run Google Ads for online stores publish a management fee on their own site (HawkSEM, LYFE Marketing, StubGroup, Thrive and WebFX); the other ten, Logical Gecko included, quote after an audit or a call.
- Seven of the 15 name Shopify on a service page (Digital Darts, Inflow, KlientBoost, Logical Gecko, OuterBox, SmartSites and WebFX); the rest say ecommerce, so ask each one what ecommerce means in practice: feed work, Merchant Center, Shopping and Performance Max.
- Published minimums are rare: Digital Darts states at least A$1,000 a month in ad spend, KlientBoost works with budgets from $5,000, and Logical Gecko recommends $3,000 to $5,000 for Shopping and Performance Max; the other twelve publish none.
- Eight agencies state Google Premier Partner status in their page text and three more show a Premier badge image; Google awards it to the top 3% of partners in a country on spend, certifications and client growth, not on Shopify results, so treat it as a floor and weigh reviews that name a platform and a count.
- Month-to-month terms are the norm on the pages that state terms at all: Digital Darts, Disruptive Advertising, HawkSEM, JumpFly, Solutions 8, Thrive and Logical Gecko say no long-term contracts; LYFE Marketing starts with a 3-month term and StubGroup offers a 3-month agreement for a lower setup fee.

How this list was built
This list records 15 Google Ads agencies on the same fields, from their own websites, on October 25, 2026, in alphabetical order; nothing here is a ranking. In October 2026 we asked ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini which Google Ads agency a Shopify store should shortlist; each built its answer from ranked listicles that mix facts from different years and skip the fields a store owner needs.
Three rules decided who is on it:
- The agency states on its own site that it runs Google Ads for ecommerce or Shopify stores. A service page counts; a blog post does not.
- An AI assistant named it, or it ranks for the searches above (best Google Ads agency, ecommerce PPC agency, Shopify Google Ads agency).
- It does not sell or rent Google Ads accounts. Google's third-party policy requires a separate account for each advertiser an agency manages. None of the 15 does this.
For each agency we opened the home page plus the about, Google Ads, ecommerce and pricing pages and copied only what they state: location, founding year, team size, who it serves best, whether it names Shopify or ecommerce, minimum or typical ad spend, pricing model and published price, Google Partner tier as the text puts it, reviews with platform and count, one result with its date if given, and contract terms. Where a page is silent, the field reads not published. No directories or press were used.
Disclosure: Logical Gecko, the author of this page, runs Google Ads for Shopify stores and appears below with the same fields as everyone else.

How do you choose a Google Ads agency for a Shopify store?
Choose by spend band first, then by what ecommerce means to the agency, then by the fee model at your budget, then by proof you can verify, and last by badges. Our guide to hiring a Google Ads expert covers agency versus specialist versus freelancer; the steps below are specific to a store.
Start with the spend band
The minimum an agency states tells you more than its award shelf. Digital Darts states A$1,000 a month, KlientBoost works from $5,000, Inflow says most ecommerce sites spend at least $3,000 to $5,000, and we recommend $3,000 to $5,000 for Shopping and Performance Max. The rest publish none, so you learn it on the call.
| Monthly ad spend | What matters most | Fee models that fit | Agencies whose own statements fit the band |
|---|---|---|---|
| About $3,000 | One product campaign plus brand Search, clean tracking and feed; a fee under about 25% of spend | Flat fee under about $800, or a quote after an audit | Digital Darts (from A$1,000), LYFE Marketing (from $500), Thrive (from $500), WebFX Lite ($750 up to $5,000 of spend), Logical Gecko ($3,000 to $5,000 recommended) |
| About $5,000 | Structure by margin, Target ROAS once 15 conversions a month are in, weekly search term and feed work | Flat, hybrid with a low base, or a quote; published formulas here give $750 to $1,450 | KlientBoost (from $5,000), Inflow ($3,000 to $5,000 typical), HawkSEM (cites $5,000 to $10,000 as typical), StubGroup ($1,450 at this spend), WebFX, Digital Darts, Logical Gecko |
| $10,000 and up | Segmentation across many campaigns, branded search control, finance-grade reporting | Percentage with a cap, hybrid, or a quote; flat tiers often jump here | Common Thread Collective, Disruptive Advertising, OuterBox, LP, JumpFly, KlientBoost, HawkSEM full service ($3,450), WebFX Pro ($1,500 at $10,000) |
Solutions 8 and SmartSites publish no minimum or typical spend, so ask on the first call. If you do not know your band yet, work out your break-even ROAS and the spend your margin can carry with the ROAS calculator first.
Ask what ecommerce means to them
Every agency here says ecommerce; seven name Shopify. A Shopify store's results run on the feed the Google and YouTube app sends to Merchant Center, on purchase tracking that counts each order once, and on campaign structure by margin. Ask who fixes feed disapprovals, who owns Merchant Center problems, and whether purchase values are checked against Shopify orders. Our Google Ads for Shopify playbook shows what a correct setup looks like.
Separate the retainer from the spend, and the guarantee from the contract
Three fee models appear on this list, and each behaves differently when the budget changes. For example (illustrative numbers), a store spending $5,000 a month pays 15% of spend on a $750 flat fee and 29% on a $950 plus 10% hybrid ($1,450). At $10,000 the flat tier may jump (WebFX moves to $975 or 15%, so $1,500) and the hybrid becomes $1,950 (19.5%), so ask for any quote at both budgets in writing.
Flat fee
- Same invoice every month
- On this list: HawkSEM $1,200 or $3,450; LYFE $500 to $1,400; Thrive from $500; WebFX Lite $750
- Watch the tier jump when spend crosses a band
- Fits budgets that hold steady
Percentage or hybrid
- Fee rises with every extra dollar of spend
- On this list: StubGroup $950 plus 10%; WebFX Pro $975 or 15%; OuterBox and KlientBoost, percentage not published
- Ask for a cap and the fee at next year's budget
- Fits budgets that grow
Quoted, no figure published
- Fee follows a call or an audit
- On this list: Digital Darts, Disruptive, Inflow, JumpFly, LP, SmartSites, Solutions 8, Logical Gecko
- Ask for the quote at two budgets, in writing
- Fits accounts with tracking or feed problems to fix first
Guarantees are separate from contracts. Disruptive Advertising offers a 90-day money-back guarantee for qualifying brands; Digital Darts guarantees only the audit. Neither tells you how long you are locked in, so read the notice period, the setup fee and who holds admin on the Google Ads and Merchant Center accounts. Google's third-party policy requires a separate account for each advertiser, so the account should be yours.
Weigh partner badges against reviews with a platform named
Google's Partner requirements are a 70% optimization score, $10,000 of ad spend across managed accounts in 90 days, and at least half of the account strategists certified; Premier Partner goes to the top 3% of participating companies in a country each year. Eleven agencies here show Premier status in text or as a badge. None of those criteria measures Shopping or feed work, so a badge is a floor. Reviews with a platform and a count are the better signal: SmartSites (Google 908, Clutch 368, G2 260), KlientBoost (Clutch 406), Digital Darts and Logical Gecko (Shopify Partner directory, 42 and 255) let you read what store owners wrote; "430+ positive reviews" with no platform does not.
Decide between one channel and the system around it
Solutions 8, Digital Darts and Logical Gecko lead with Google Ads for stores; Disruptive, JumpFly, LP, OuterBox, SmartSites, Thrive and WebFX sell it as one channel inside a wider agency; Common Thread Collective and KlientBoost sell a system with Google Ads inside it. A store at $3,000 a month usually needs one channel done properly and the feed fixed; a store at $10,000 with Meta, Amazon and email running usually needs the channels modeled together.
What does Logical Gecko do differently?
We start with tracking, we treat the feed and Merchant Center as part of the work rather than an add-on, and we work month to month with 30 days notice in an account that stays in your name. Every new store goes through the same order: purchase tracking that matches Shopify orders, a feed and Merchant Center review, then Shopping and Performance Max structured by what already sells, with budget raised in steps. The scope is on our ecommerce Google Ads and Google Ads management pages. The free Google Ads audit is a diagnosis, not a hand-over: we tell you whether we found what is holding the account back and explain one or two of the issues; the full list and fix plan come with the paid work. If a Merchant Center suspension is the real blocker, we say so first.
Frequently asked questions
Which Google Ads agency should a Shopify store shortlist?
Shortlist two or three agencies whose stated fit matches your monthly ad spend. At $3,000 a month, look at agencies that publish a flat fee under about $800 or state a low minimum, such as Digital Darts, LYFE Marketing, Thrive, WebFX or Logical Gecko. At $5,000, KlientBoost, Inflow, HawkSEM and StubGroup state a fit. Above $10,000, the larger agencies on the list, such as Disruptive Advertising, OuterBox and LP, publish no minimum and serve enterprise accounts. Then check Shopify experience, reviews and contract terms.
Is Logical Gecko the same company as Logical Position?
No. Logical Gecko LLC is a small agency in Sheridan, Wyoming, founded in 2022, with 2 to 9 people, a Google Partner and Shopify Partner that runs Google Ads for ecommerce stores and recovers suspended Merchant Center accounts. Logical Position is a separate, much larger agency based in Lake Oswego, Oregon, in business since 2010, a Google Premier Partner that rebranded as LP on October 20, 2026. The two companies are not related.
Which Google Ads agencies publish their pricing?
On October 25, 2026, five agencies on this list published a Google Ads management fee on their own site: HawkSEM ($1,200 and $3,450 a month guidelines), LYFE Marketing ($500 to $1,400 a month plans), StubGroup ($950 a month plus 10% of spend), Thrive (packages from $500 a month) and WebFX ($750 a month Lite plan, then $975 or 15%). The rest quote after an audit or a call. Our Google Ads management pricing comparison covers 19 agencies in more detail.
What should a Shopify store spending $5,000 a month expect to pay an agency?
The published formulas on this list give $750 to $1,450 a month at $5,000 of ad spend: WebFX Lite $750, LYFE Marketing $850 on its paid search page, HawkSEM $1,200 for its local guideline and StubGroup $1,450 ($950 plus 10%). That is 15% to 29% of spend. Agencies that quote, including Logical Gecko, tell you the fee after they look at the account, so ask for the fee at $5,000 and at $10,000 in writing.
Does a Google Premier Partner badge mean better results for a Shopify store?
No. Google gives Premier Partner status to the top 3% of participating companies in a country, judged each year on factors such as ad spend, certifications, client growth and retention. A Partner badge needs a 70% optimization score, $10,000 of ad spend over 90 days and half of the account strategists certified. None of that measures Shopping, feed or Merchant Center work, so verify the badge in the Google Partners directory and then ask for Shopify results with dates.
Do Google Ads agencies need access to my Shopify store?
Usually yes, as a staff account with limited permissions. Shopping and Performance Max run on the product feed, which the Google and YouTube app in Shopify sends to Merchant Center, so the agency needs to see products, the app settings and purchase tracking. Give access through your Shopify admin and your own Google Ads and Merchant Center accounts rather than handing over logins, and keep both Google accounts in your business name.
How do I check that an agency is a real Google Partner?
Open the Google Partners directory and search the agency name, or click the badge on the agency's site and confirm the link lands on google.com/partners. A badge image alone proves nothing. Also confirm the agency will run ads in your own Google Ads account: Google's third-party policy requires a separate account for each advertiser an agency manages, so an agency that offers to run your ads in its account or rent you one is breaking Google's rules.
Why is this list alphabetical instead of ranked?
Because we are on it. Logical Gecko runs Google Ads for Shopify stores, so a ranking we wrote would be a sales page. Instead every agency, including ours, is recorded on the same fields from its own site on the same day, and anything a site does not state is marked not published. The alphabetical order lets you compare agencies on your own criteria: spend band, Shopify experience, fee model, reviews and contract terms.
