Bikespot: Approved, Suspended, Then Approved Again
Bikespot, a Specialized bike store in Kraków, Poland, needed Google Merchant Center (GMC) after an earlier suspension. We set up a new account, checked the store fixes the owner made and added products in stages. It was approved in July 2026, suspended for misrepresentation in early August, and approved again after a review, with products active at handover on August 28.

Who Is Bikespot?
Bikespot (bikespot.pl) is a bike store in Kraków, Poland, focused on Specialized and S-Works. It sells mountain, road, gravel and electric bikes, components and accessories, and runs a service workshop and bike fitting. The online store runs on Shopify, in Polish.
The project combined a Merchant Center setup with a close look at what visitors read before checkout: shipping options, stock messages, product descriptions and the language on each page.

The problem
Where Did the Store and the Feed Disagree?
Our store review found places where the website, checkout and product data did not match. A new suspension in August then added another stage to the project.
- Shipping policy and checkout did not match. The policy did not describe every delivery option shown at checkout.
- Stock badges read like delivery promises. Availability and fulfillment labels could be taken as delivery dates.
- Product descriptions were incomplete, and shipping information did not always fit the product on the page.
- English text sat inside a Polish store. Some content was not in the store's language.
- Some products were not ready to list. The feed had to leave out items that were unavailable or missing key details.
- A new suspension in August. Merchant Center flagged misrepresentation again after the first approval.
The timeline
How Did the Project Run, Setback Included?
Approval in July was not the end. The account was suspended again in August, reviewed, and approved again before handover.
Every date comes from our project record with the store, up to the handover on August 28, 2026.
- Setup stage
Store review and fixes
We reviewed shipping, product pages, descriptions and language. The owner made the store changes, and we checked each one.
- July 18, 2026
First product approved
One product went in alone and was approved. This was also the account's first approval.
- July 28, 2026
A selected collection approved
We built a feed for one collection, and it reached its own approval milestone. The wider catalog came next, with rules that kept unready products out.
- Early August 2026
Suspended for misrepresentation
Merchant Center suspended the account again. We rechecked the website and the account and guided the owner through business information verification.
- August 15, 2026
Review completed
The review succeeded, and Google support no longer found an issue in the account.
- August 28, 2026
Approved at handover
The account was approved with products active when we handed it over.
The work
What Did We Do Across the Store and Feed?
The owner made the store edits. We found what needed to change, checked the result, built the feed and handled the second review.
Shipping and Checkout
- Shipping policy compared with the checkout options
- Differences corrected by the owner
- Product-level shipping details clarified
Product Content
- Incomplete descriptions flagged and completed
- Ambiguous stock badges removed
- Title language checked against the store
Store Information
- Payment information
- Support details and order tracking
- Returns and refunds
Feed Rules
- Unavailable items kept out of the feed
- Items missing key details kept out
- The feed never assumed to match the full product database
Staged Listing
- One product first
- A selected collection next
- The wider catalog after that
Review After the August Suspension
- Website and account rechecked
- Business information verification guided
- Review completed August 15, 2026
The result
Approved With Products Active on August 28, 2026
The account was approved twice: first in July, and again after the August suspension and review. Both stages are here, because the first approval was not the end of the story.

Before Logical Gecko
- An earlier Merchant Center suspension
- A shipping policy that did not match checkout
- Incomplete descriptions and stock badges read as delivery dates
- A catalog with unready products mixed in
After Logical Gecko
- Account approved with products active, August 28, 2026
- The August suspension cleared by a successful review
- Store corrections made by the owner and checked by us
- A feed that lists only ready products
No final approved-product total is claimed. Merchant Center approval is separate from Google Ads, and this case does not claim any Google Ads account was reinstated or any sales result. Google makes every review decision.
Key lessons
What Can Other Stores Learn From This?
Four points from a project that had a setback halfway. If you are setting up from scratch, our Merchant Center setup guide walks through the order Google reviews things in.
Say clearly when an order arrives
Stock and supplier lead-time labels should not leave anyone guessing about delivery dates. A badge that reads like a promise is a promise.
Catalog size is not an approval figure
A store database holds unavailable and incomplete items. The feed should list only what is ready, and the count that matters is the count in the feed.
Keep Google's outcomes apart
A Merchant Center review result does not reinstate a Google Ads account or prove campaign results. Our guide to Google Ads vs Merchant Center misrepresentation explains the difference.
Record the whole sequence
This project had a second suspension and another review. Showing both stages is more useful than presenting the July approval as the finish line.
FAQ
Questions About This Result
How did Bikespot get Merchant Center approved again after the August suspension?
We rechecked the website and the Merchant Center account, guided the owner through business information verification and supported a new review request. The review completed successfully on August 15, 2026, and the account was approved with products active at handover on August 28, 2026.
Was Bikespot's original Merchant Center account reinstated?
No. This project set up a new Merchant Center account after the store's information was corrected, and the original account was not reinstated. It is not a recommendation to replace a suspended account: Google's circumventing systems policy covers new accounts opened to get around a suspension. Our circumventing systems guide explains it.
How many Bikespot products are approved?
We do not claim a final total. The feed listed only products that were available and had complete information, so the store's full product database is not an approval count.
Did the Merchant Center approval reinstate Bikespot's Google Ads?
This case study does not claim that. Merchant Center approval and Google Ads account status are separate outcomes, and Google Ads was outside the result shown here.
Do you work with Merchant Center accounts outside the United States?
Yes. This project was for a Polish-language store selling in Poland. Send us your store URL and any notice you have, and we tell you whether we found what is blocking approval, with one or two of the issues explained. See our Merchant Center setup and management service.
