Glowme: GMC Recovered, Then a Product Feed Cleanup
Glowme is a French store for Korean beauty brands on Shopify. Its Google Merchant Center (GMC) account had been suspended for misrepresentation, and several review requests had failed. We reviewed the website, the Shopify backend and the account, and the account was approved on June 13, 2026. A July 8 snapshot showed 340 of 347 products approved; we then worked through the missing data behind the other seven.

The client
Who Is Glowme?
Glowme (glowme.me, styled GLOW:ME) sells Korean beauty products in France through a Shopify store: skincare, makeup, body care and hair care from brands such as Dasique, Isoi, Dr.Melaxin, Fwee and Numbuzin.
The project covered two things: the account's suspension, and the data behind each product. As the catalog grew, keeping that data complete became part of the work.

The problem
What Stood Between Glowme and Approval?
The account was suspended after early setup and product data problems, and several review requests had already failed. Our first assessment found issues in four areas, and a product-level problem stayed after the account was approved.
- Policy information needed to be complete and consistent.
- Delivery details needed to be clearer.
- Business transparency. Business and support details had to be easy to find.
- Missing information in Merchant Center itself.
- Several failed reviews already on the account's record.
- Products missing data after approval: prices, images and descriptions on some listings.
The timeline
How Did Recovery and Cleanup Unfold?
The account came first. Then the work moved to the products, because an approved account can still carry listings Google will not show.
Dates and the July 8 product count come from our project record with the store, up to the handover on July 16, 2026.

We confirmed the business and support information for the store and the account, without adding personal details to the website.
- June 13, 2026
Account approved
The Merchant Center account was approved.
- June 2026
Careful catalog changes
As new products went in, our guidance kept titles and descriptions accurate and free of claims the products could not back up.
- July 8, 2026
340 of 347 products approved
The product status showed 340 approved and 7 not approved. Diagnostics traced the 7 to missing prices, images and descriptions.
- July 2026
Data fixed
We updated the missing prices and images and set the image, price, availability and description attributes. Missing descriptions went to the Glowme team to complete.
- July 16, 2026
Handover
The account was approved with products active when we handed it over.

The result
Account Approved, Then 340 of 347 Products Approved
Two dated results, kept separate: the account approval on June 13, 2026, and a product snapshot on July 8 with 340 of 347 products approved.

Before Logical Gecko
- A Merchant Center account suspended for misrepresentation
- Several review requests already failed
- Policy, delivery and business details to fix
- Missing information in the account
After Logical Gecko
- Account approved on June 13, 2026
- 340 of 347 products approved on July 8
- Missing prices and images updated, feed attributes set
- Approved with products active at the July 16 handover
The July 8 count is a snapshot, not a final total, and the handover record gives no new count. No sales, ROAS or traffic figure is claimed, and nothing here describes the account's status today. Google makes every review decision.
Key lessons
What Can Other Stores Learn From This?
Three points from a recovery that did not end at the approval email. Our Merchant Center misrepresentation fix guide covers the account side.
Separate the account from its products
Account approval does not mean every product is eligible. Seven listings stayed unapproved for missing data weeks after the account passed review.
Keep new product copy accurate
New titles, descriptions, prices and images should describe the actual product. A claim the product cannot back up is a fresh risk for the account.
Date every product count
A count means something when its date, total and status labels are clear. 340 of 347 on July 8 is a snapshot, not a permanent success rate.
FAQ
Questions About This Result
How did Glowme recover its Merchant Center account?
We reviewed Glowme's public website, Shopify backend and Merchant Center account together, then worked on policy information, delivery details, business transparency and missing account information. The account was approved on June 13, 2026, after several earlier review requests had failed.
Were all of Glowme's products approved?
Not on July 8, 2026: 340 of 347 products were approved and 7 were not, because of missing prices, images or descriptions. We updated the prices and images, set the feed attributes and asked the Glowme team to complete the descriptions. At the July 16 handover the account was approved and products active; no new count was recorded.
Why can an approved Merchant Center account still have disapproved products?
Account approval and product approval are separate checks. Google reviews the account against its policies and each product against its product data requirements, so a listing missing a price, image or description can stay disapproved inside an approved account.
Does this case study show a sales increase?
No. The documented result is the Merchant Center account approval and the product data work, not a verified revenue, ROAS or traffic increase.
Do you work with stores in France and the rest of Europe?
Yes. Glowme sells in France, and our Merchant Center case studies also include stores selling in the United Kingdom, Poland, the Netherlands and other European markets. Send us your store URL and the notice, and we tell you whether we found what is causing it.
